Protecting everyone in the lab
Open solvent bottles can lead to solvent evaporation and the escape of harmful vapours into your working area. Even bottles with a paper towel or foil over the opening will still cause a problem. Over time, these chemicals can harm the health of your lab employees and visitors.
Chromatography Direct TrapIT II Solvent Safety Caps help prevent solvents from leaching into the air. These safety caps fit directly onto your standard solvent bottles, freeing the air from harmful vapours.

Reduce your exposure to toxic chemicals
You may be exposed to many compounds in your HPLC laboratory, including Acetonitrile and methanol. TrapIT II Solvent Safety Caps use a special Air Inlet Valve to prevent solvents from leaching into your lab, protecting you and your coworkers while allowing the required ventilation when the solvent is being drawn.
Reproducibility of your chromatographic analysis
Mobile phase changes due to evaporation can affect your chromatographic performance. Preventing solvents from leaching into the air will help maintain mobile phase consistency over time.
Prevent waste and save money
Replacing your mobile phase due to an evaporative change will drive up your costs. However, you can avoid waste by preventing solvents from leaching into the air with a TrapIT II Solvent Safety Cap.
More reliable HPLC/UHPLC
